What does it do?

A thousand places on your network need to be able to distinguish between good and bad actors.

Every one of those places has (or in some cases needs) a spam-trap, phishing filter or other technology. The problems are twofold:
  1. Thousands of places need individual spamtraps installed, all of which require maintenance.
  2. The reputation techologies and the data sets they use are ever-changing, requiring constant client upgrades and reconfigurations.
Karmasphere is designed to solve both of these problems.

The Philosophy

The core philosophy of Karmasphere is to move as much logic as possible out of the client, and centralise it on a high performance server. New configurations need only be deployed on the server, and all applications using that server will benefit.

In most cases, the client needs only the basic protocol library and a small configuration file. The configuration file really points to a configuration on the server, which the systems administrator can maintain centrally.

Karmasphere Clients

People contribute plugins for various systems, we release those on this web site as they become available. If you would like to write a plugin for a system you use, please send it to the mailing list for inclusion on this site. You can access the various types of client from the menu on the left.

Take me to it!
